CRICKET

                                              The Royal Amateur Society played their first             Grand Match of Cricket on August 13th, 1836, at Hampton                         Court Green.  

                        I just know how to play cricket though I am not an efficient player. This is played with a bat and ball. It is generally played on a pitch in a wide field with a fixed boundary. The pitch is a long rectangular path. Each team consists of eleven players Two players of the batting team play from each end of the pitch. Ten members of the fielding team stand in the field to catch the ball. The game consists of two innings. In each innings, ten players complete their batting to complete the innings. The score is counted in runs. The team which scores the most number of runs is declared winner.
